IAF - Adventures in Architecture
Diane, Sarah H, and Cari helped the Iowa Architectural Foundation with their "Adventures in Architecture" camp held on the Drake campus in June. This weeklong day camp offers middle schoolers the opportunity to explore their interest in buildings and architecture. Our team led the students through a hands-on interior design exercise, which included a field measure, drawing a floor plan, creating a mood board, and presenting their projects to a small group.
Design Core Process
Our regional design teams held quarterly meetings during the month of July. We completed a group exercise to discuss what's working, and what's not working, in each region. We finished the meeting by doing an in-depth review of the Design Core Process document.
We have been focused on getting all of our design process documents, reference documents, and templates updated and organized in preparation for the upcoming transition from SharePoint to Teams. Watch for more info coming very soon!

We have recently welcomed Amanda Tafolla & Sarah Hegetschweiler to our Des Moines design team, and Darby Kaska to our Cedar Rapids design team. We’re thrilled to have them on the team!
